Vodka

Vodka
Vodka is a clear spirit originally distilled from potatoes. Nowadays, many vodkas are made from grains like wheat, rye and corn.

It is not clear where vodka originated, but Poland and Russia claim the invention of vodka. The name vodka comes from the diminutive Slavic word "voda" (water) which it's interpreted as "little water."

Vodka is one of the most popular spirits in the world. It is used in several mixed drinks.
